Storyline
"Ruka Azumi's usual summer break centers around devoting most of her time to the handball court, seeking solace away from her sole housemate, her mother who battles alcoholism. However, an unfortunate incident during practice leads to Ruka's removal from the handball team, prompting her to search for other ways to enjoy herself. Eventually, she finds herself at the aquarium where her father is employed. It is there that she encounters Umi, a mysterious boy who was raised by dugongs and is being studied at the aquarium due to his unusual water-dependent body. Ruka and Umi quickly form a deep friendship, and their bond is further strengthened when they are joined by Sora, Umi's brother, who also shares an extraordinary connection with the ocean. Together, the trio embarks on an enchanting underwater journey, discovering the wonders of a dazzling marine world, all the while learning about a peculiar "festival" that sea creatures from all corners of the globe are preparing for.
